My Gaming Journey
Gaming has been a constant thread in my life for as long as I can remember. It began back in kindergarten with my very first console: a new to me Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Little did I know, that very SNES would spark a lifelong passion for interactive entertainment.
As I grew up, I watched gaming evolve across an entire generation of hardware. I played on the Game Boy, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, a PC (which has been my primary gaming platform for the past 25+ years), PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Nintendo DS, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox One, PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X, Steam Deck, and a PlayStation 5 Pro. Each system brought new experiences, new memories, and a new sense of wonder that helped shape the person I am today.
Like many gamers of my generation, I made the classic mistake of trading entire collections to GameStop over the years. Hundreds of games traded away for pennies on the dollar, titles that you and I now know carry both nostalgic significance and surprising monetary value. I'll never truly rebuild the full collection I once had, but these days I'm slowly picking up retro games again. This little site is a visual showcase of the pieces I've brought back home, small reminders of the worlds that defined my childhood.
